Library Programming

The Tumbler Ridge Public Library has a wide variety of programming for all ages!

For 2026 – 2027 during the school year, the programs are as follows.

Library is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, and Saturdays 10-4

  • Snack time, featuring tasty healthy snacks Monday–Saturday @12 pm & 3 pm.
    In partnership with Safer Schools Together and Food Banks BC.

  • Lego Club Mondays at 3 pm, ages 4+.

  • Dungeons & Dragons on Tuesdays at 3 pm – no experience necessary!
    Sponsored by Foundry and Tumbler Ridge Child & Youth Support Centre.

  • Crafternoon Wednesdays at 3 pm featuring snacks and storytelling.

  • Teen Crafternoon Wednesdays at 4 pm, ages 11+.

  • Lapsit with puppets, sing-alongs, and stories on Thursdays at 11 am for ages 0–2 (and siblings!).
  • Teen Nintendo Switch Tournament Thursdays from 4 pm to 6 pm for ages 11+.
    Try new games, multiplayer and couch co-op style, free snacks and prizes!

And for the grown-ups:

  • Virtual Book Club on Mondays at 9 am (request the Zoom link from the library).

  • Unwind Workshop on the 3rd Saturday of each month, all supplies provided.
