Go North, Reporter! and Our memories of Tumbler Ridge

Go North, Reporter! and Our memories of Tumbler Ridge

Earlier in August, the Tumbler Ridge Museum launched "Go North, Reporter!", a collected volume of journalist Anne Mullins' articles and photos from her journey and experiences in Tumbler Ridge when the town was being built. The book itself was a collaboration with the Tumbler Ridge Museum and Archives, Tumbler Ridgelines, and Ms. Mullens, herself.

The book launch event included a pancake breakfast, author talk and book signing event in the community, and TRCAC helped prepare a banner to collect the Tumbler Ridge memories of residents and visitors, past and present. TRCAC members, Colette Ernst of Colette Watercolours and Barb Schuerkamp worked together to bring a practical piece of art together to hold these memories as a banner.

The banner is currently on display at the Tumbler Ridge Museum, and guests are invited to jot down their memories to add to it. The banner will eventually become part of the Museum archives. In the meantime, enjoy the shared memories and take a moment to add your own!

You can also purchase "Go North, Reporter!" online or in person at the Museum gift shop.
